With over fifteen years of finance and accounting experience, Nancy Brown now serves Monaghan Group as the City Leader for the Charlotte office. Nancy has served as Audit Manager with Price Waterhouse and has a strong background in construction, manufacturing, wholesale and retail distribution, professional services and energy industries. Nancy has significant experience in financial analysis of products and business lines, month-end closing, financial reporting, corporate budgeting and management reporting. As Manager of Finance at Cogentrix, Nancy developed the pro-forma business case model for new business proposals and analyzed alternate lines of business opportunities. As Manager of Financial Planning at Computer Power, Nancy had significant experience in preparing financial analyses of products, coordinating the corporate budgeting process and establishing and enhancing management reporting. As the Controller of Strategic Outsourcing, Inc., Nancy reorganized the accounting department during an ownership transition. She also established an accounting policies and procedures manual and handled preparation of internal and external financial statements. Nancy received the John Motley Morehead scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her BS in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
