Beth Monaghan brings 25 years of business experience to Monaghan Group clients and to the leadership of Monaghan Group. Monaghan has worked with several clients as their interim CFO, in industries such as professional services, manufacturing, e-commerce and construction. Previously, Monaghan worked for seven years at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). As an Audit Manager, she worked closely with middle market companies in numerous industries. Subsequently, Monaghan was a CFO for a Charlotte business, recognized three years in a row as one of the Business Journal's Fast 50. In this position she led the business through a reorganization of the accounting department, including a total system conversion and a 20% reduction in staff, while decreasing the monthly close process by more than 50% and increasing dramatically the credibility of the accounting function and accounting department. Prior to her career with Price Waterhouse, Monaghan was a sales representative with Nabisco Brands, Inc. (now part of Kraft Foods), consistently exceeding the previous sales record, held for 25 years. In addition to her professional duties, Beth and her husband are busy raising a middle school age son who is involved in many academic and extracurricular activities at Alexander Graham Middle School. Beth also enjoys spending time at her mountain cabin outside of Boone, NC where she can relax, experience nature, and allow her two dogs, Casey and Joey, to spread their wings.
