Nancy Brown, CPA

With more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience, Nancy Brown serves as the city leader for Monaghan Group.
Nancy previously served as audit manager with Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). She has significant experience in financial analysis of products and business lines, month-end closing, financial reporting, corporate budgeting and management reporting.
Nancy’s additional experience includes manager of finance at Cogentrix, manager of financial planning at Computer Power and controller of Strategic Outsourcing, Inc.
A Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Nancy also received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
She is active in Women Executives and serves on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Professional Development for Accountancy Board of Advisors. Nancy is an active member of Forest Hill Church – she served as a youth group leader, was involved in Women Under Construction, and started and led the former Newcomer’s ministry. She also led a Women’s LifeGroup and will embark on her first international missions trip this year. Nancy’s family frequently provides temporary housing for college interns and missionaries associated with their church.
As parents of two active teenagers, Nancy and her husband stay involved in a variety of sports teams and school activities.
