Monaghan Group Welcomes Brian Mattison

Charlotte-based accounting services firm adds Client Service and Development position

CHARLOTTE, NC, January 5, 2009 - Monaghan Group, a customized accounting services firm with offices in Charlotte, the Triangle and the Triad, is pleased to announce that Brian Mattison has joined Monaghan Group as a Client Leader serving the Triad and Triangle offices.

Having worked for many years in the Triangle and Triad markets, Brian is uniquely qualified to serve both our Monaghan Group offices. "Brian is a great addition to our current team leadership, with Liz Douglas as Triad City Leader and Debbie Fox as Triangle City Leader."

Brian brings over 20 years of accounting and client service experience to this new role, including positions with Ernst & Young in their Winston-Salem, San Francisco and Raleigh offices and the Raleigh office of RSM McGladrey. He was graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree and received his M.S. in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. Brian has worked the most recent five years developing new business relationships to provide high level accounting and financial solutions to both public and private enterprises.

Since 1996, Monaghan Group has served clients in five different countries and numerous U.S. locations, tripled the size of its Charlotte practice and added practices in the Triad and Triangle regions of North Carolina.
